Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota & supporting a sound of southern rock and blues fused with a bit of alternative rock. (O.R) is an all original band with a simple goal…to write stripped down songs, with traditional arrangements, a solid foundation, and a great story.
The Minneapolis, Minnesota Indie band outfit—vocalist Monaye Love, guitarists Jason Jump, bassist Jeremy Streit and drummer Ricky Parker—not only know where they’re going but have a rock solid history that put them here today. With the 2016 release of the band’s debut song Good Old Days, Omission Republic arrives with substance, style and a spirit that captures their sound.
Founded by Singer/Songwriter Monaye Love in Mar. 2016, the Omission Republic band released their first single recording “Good Old Days” in April 2016, shortly after writing, rehearsing, and performing. Their 2nd project, “Reflection” Ep. is one to listen to, (Released in Sept. 2016).
The backbone of their work? Stylistically eclectic songs—suggesting a range of influences from Alabama Shakes, The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr, Grace Potter, and Dave Matthews Band.
