It’s a fierce world out there and unless you’re the OMISSION REPUBLIC, you might get swept up before ever getting your feet on the ground.
Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota & supporting a sound of southern rock and blues fused with a bit of alternative rock. (O.R) is an all original band with a simple goal…to write stripped down songs, with traditional arrangements, a solid foundation, and a great story.
The Minneapolis, Minnesota Indie band outfit—vocalist Monaye Love, guitarists Jason Jump, bassist Jeremy Streit and drummer Ricky Parker—not only know where they’re going but have a rock solid history that put them here today. With the 2016 release of the band’s debut song Good Old Days, Omission Republic arrives with substance, style and a spirit that captures their sound.
Founded by Singer/Songwriter Monaye Love in Mar. 2016, the Omission Republic band released their first single recording “Good Old Days” in April 2016, shortly after writing, rehearsing, and performing. Their 2nd project, “Reflection” Ep. is one to listen to, (Released in Sept. 2016).
The backbone of their work? Stylistically eclectic songs—suggesting a range of influences from Alabama Shakes, The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr, Grace Potter, and Dave Matthews Band.
The band is currently gigging in and around Minneapolis/St. Paul with hopes touring regionally. You can stay up to date with the group on most social media sites, and find their streaming music all over the web.

The “Omission Republic” group got started in March of 2016. They came together after performing at a show in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After talking about where music has been, in the past two decades, they decide to create their mission, and vision statement to what it defines to be an artist. They concluded that as working artist, in respects to their own personal music careers, that it was time to do music in a way that will reach and impact people’s lives.
Currently writing songs to create an album while rehearsing to perfect their live show performances. They truly feel that creating quality music with substance will bring listeners of all ages and walks of life together. They believe in creating a movement of positive thinking , setting an example for writers , producers, and performers moving forward into the years to come.
